Pricing questions

Do you charge hourly or fixed rates?

Home moves are charged at a straightforward hourly rate with a 2-hour minimum, so you only pay for the time your move takes.

For furniture pickups and deliveries, I can give you a fixed-price quote.

What is travel time?

The clock starts when I arrive at your place, not when I leave mine. Travel is based on time from Fitzroy: 0–30 minutes is no charge, 30–45 minutes is $60, 45–60 minutes is $90 and 60–75 minutes is $120 (inc. GST). I'll confirm it upfront, before you book.

How long will my move take?

That depends on a few things, like how much you’re moving, the access at each location, and the distance between them. Once I know the details, I’ll give you a clear estimate so you know exactly what to expect on moving day.

How can I pay?

I accept credit or debit card payments via Payid or bank transfer. Invoicing can also be provided. I also accept cash payments.

What if I want to cancel my booking?

If you cancel at least 72 hours before your move date, there’s no penalty. However, cancellations made within 72 hours of your scheduled move may incur a fee.
